Great Auto Parts Debuts Heavy-Duty Off-Road Tech at AAPEX 2026
Great Auto Parts will debut two new products under its own brand at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) 2026 in Las Vegas: a forged aluminum adjustable upper control arm (UCA) and a heavy-duty adjustable sway bar link, both engineered for lifted Toyota 4x4s. Visit us at Booth V19526, Venetian Expo Level 1, November 3–5, 2026, where our booth theme is Heavy-Duty Off-Road Tech. Book a meeting with our team to reserve your time at the booth.
The theme sums up what we set out to build: suspension parts that let installers correct a lift on the vehicle, and that are tough enough to keep working through dirt, mud, water and harsh road conditions.

Meet Us at AAPEX 2026: Booth V19526, Venetian Expo Level 1
AAPEX runs November 3–5, 2026 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. You will find us on Level 1 at Booth V19526.
This is the first public showing of both products. Visitors can see both products in person, inspect the ball joints and adjustment mechanisms up close, and talk directly with our product and sales teams about application coverage and carrying the Great Auto Parts off-road line.
We chose to launch an off-road pair at this show for a simple reason. Lifted pickups and SUVs remain one of the most active segments in the aftermarket, and the parts that correct a lift are often the first upgrade a customer buys after the lift itself.
Why Lifted Toyota 4x4s Need Adjustable Suspension Components
Factory suspension parts are designed around stock ride height. Once a truck is lifted, three problems tend to appear:
- Alignment runs out of range. A lift pulls camber and caster away from specification, and fixed-length upper control arms often cannot bring them back.
- Ball joints hit their angle limit. A lifted suspension cycles through more travel, and a stock upper ball joint can bind near full droop.
- Sway bar geometry is thrown off. A fixed-length end link no longer holds the sway bar at its intended angle.
Left uncorrected, these issues show up as uneven tire wear, a wandering steering feel and clunks over rough terrain. For a shop or retailer, they show up as comebacks after an otherwise successful lift install.
Our two new products address these problems as a set. The upper control arm restores alignment and ball joint angle; the sway bar link restores roll control geometry at the new ride height.
Heavy-Duty Off-Road Tech: Four Key Features
Our booth theme comes to life in four key features shared by both new products. Each feature below shows how it applies to the UCA and to the sway bar link.
1. On-Vehicle Adjustability
Every adjustment can be made with the parts installed and the truck on its wheels. That is where geometry actually matters, and it is where technicians can verify a correction immediately.
- The upper control arm uses a turnbuckle to fine-tune camber and caster. It is adjusted with the special hex wrench included in the kit, which works with any standard 3/8″ drive ratchet.
- The sway bar link has a precision hex body that turns with a standard 17mm wrench, adjusting from 135mm to 165mm center-to-center (a 30mm range).
For installers, this removes the cycle of pulling a part, adjusting it on the bench and reinstalling it to check the result. Small corrections happen on the alignment rack, saving bay time on every lift job.
2. Performance-Grade Aluminum and Materials
Off-road parts take repeated impact loads, so material choice comes first. Both products share the same material approach: a lightweight aluminum body paired with a high-strength steel ball stud.
The main body of both the upper control arm and the sway bar link is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, which delivers high strength at reduced weight. Less unsprung weight helps the suspension respond quickly over rough terrain, and aluminum does not rust the way steel does when exposed to mud and water.
The ball studs on both products are machined from SCM440 chromoly steel and heat-treated for toughness and structural integrity. The ball stud is where steering and suspension loads concentrate, so this is where we use steel rather than aluminum.
3. Greaseable Serviceability
Trail use pushes ball joints harder than daily driving. Instead of sealed-for-life joints that are discarded once worn, both products are built to be maintained.
- The UCA ball joint is a heavy-duty, metal-to-metal design that is greaseable and replaceable. It offers ±35° of swing (70° total) for lifted travel.
- The sway bar link ball joints are greaseable, with ±30° of swing (60° total) to follow the bar through extended articulation.
Routine greasing keeps internal lubrication fresh, and a replaceable joint means the arm itself does not have to be replaced when the joint wears.
4. Multi-Layer Surface Protection
Off-road suspension parts face a wider range of threats than most components on the vehicle: water crossings, mud, dust and grit, road salt, and constant moisture in the wheel well. Each exposed surface on both products is treated for the conditions it faces.
| Surface | Adjustable Upper Control Arm | Adjustable Sway Bar Link |
|---|---|---|
| Body | Orange anodized | Orange anodized |
| Ball stud | Manganese phosphate coating | Phosphate-treated |
Anodizing forms a hard oxide layer on the aluminum body, protecting it against corrosion as well as abrasion from gravel and debris. The phosphate coating on the ball studs adds corrosion resistance to the steel, and manganese phosphate on the UCA stud also improves wear resistance under heavy loads. All UCA mounting hardware is trivalent white zinc-plated, so the bolts and nuts are protected to the same standard as the arm itself.
Product Spotlight: Forged Aluminum Adjustable Upper Control Arm
Our adjustable upper control arm for Toyota 4×4 applications is designed to restore camber and caster on lifted trucks while giving the suspension more room to articulate. It is designed for lifts of 1.5 to 3.0 inches and ships as a complete bolt-on kit with all necessary hardware.
For retailers already selling leveling and lift kits, the UCA is a natural companion product. It solves the alignment problem the lift creates, at the same point of sale, and gives installers a part they can adjust and service rather than replace.
Product Spotlight: Heavy-Duty Adjustable Sway Bar Link
Our adjustable sway bar link for Toyota 4×4 applications brings the sway bar back to its intended angle after a lift. It is sold as a matched left/right pair, machined to the same tolerance, so installers can set both sides to the same length and keep the bar centered.
Because one adjustable link covers a 30mm range, a single part number can serve trucks at different lift heights. For distributors, that means fewer fixed-length variants in inventory and a simpler answer when a customer changes their build.

Precision-Machined, Fully Traceable, 100% Made in Taiwan
Every Great Auto Parts product is backed by how we design, build and support it.
- 100% Made in Taiwan. Both products are machined and assembled in Taiwan, backed by our established aftermarket supply history.
- Precision-Machined. Critical dimensions are held to ±0.1mm under a graduated tolerance control system, so every part fits the way it was designed to.
- Fully Traceable. Laser-etched batch codes provide full production traceability and authenticity verification for every Great Auto Parts unit.
- Backed by warranty. Each product carries a 2-year or 50,000 km (approx. 31,000 miles) limited warranty.
For retailers and installers, this means consistent fitment from one shipment to the next, fewer warranty claims, and a brand they can stand behind with their customers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When and where is Great Auto Parts exhibiting at AAPEX 2026?
A: We are exhibiting November 3–5, 2026, at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. Our booth is V19526 on Level 1, where both new off-road suspension products will be on display.
Q: Can the adjustable sway bar link be adjusted without removing it?
A: Yes. The hex body adjusts on the vehicle with a standard 17mm wrench, from 135mm to 165mm center-to-center, so the sway bar can be set at the truck’s actual ride height.
Q: What lift heights does the adjustable upper control arm support?
A: The adjustable upper control arm is designed for lifts of 1.5 to 3.0 inches. Camber and caster are corrected on the vehicle using the special hex wrench included in the kit, which works with any standard 3/8″ drive ratchet.
